The Fabulous Cook.........
Born in Durban Kwazulu Natal , Cheryl moved to Johannesburg at the age of 8 and has been residing there ever since.
She studied Human Resources and Labor Law/Relations with the University of South Africa and has been in the HR an Recruitment Business for over 10 years and is currently the Owner and Co-Founder of Bokamoso Direct Talent Sourcing.
In 2008 She registered an Events Company " Supreme Events Management cc" but little did she know that her Passion for Events and cooking would erupt. During her spare time she started catering for small events including, Birthday parties, engagement parties, Dinner parties, baby showers etc.
To ensure that her food was up to the right standard, she would host dinner parties at her home and cook for her friends and family whom she says were her biggest critics but helped her sharpen her Kraft.
With no formal training as a Cook or Chef she credits her experience in the kitchen with many people including her Mum ' Best cook to date", her friends, her aunties and sisters who never disappoint when it comes to a great MEAL....
She is very versatile in her cooking and enjoys food from all parts of the world including some of her favorite dishes such as Sugar Beans from Zambia, Jollof Rice from Nigeria, Durban Chicken Curry form RSA, Yorkshire puddings" British & Irish Foods", Moroccan Lamb, Portuguese Chicken, Zimbabwean Collard Greens with Sadza ' Corn meal", Orecchiette with Ricotta & chard pan sauce from Italy, DOVI " Peanut butter stew", All American Burger and the list goes on and on.......
Cheryl loves to use the simple ingredients found at home and turn them in to great dishes. Her ultimate goal is to one day have a cooking show and cook books.
